Any device that has been subject to liquid or impact shock damage is at risk of further faults due to other parts failing, which may not be detected until a screen replacement has been undertaken, for example the device may have suffered board level faults un detectable until a screen replacement has taken place, In these cases we would not be responsible and you would still be required to pay for the repair in full. Other possible failures such as Home Button, Light Sensor and Front Camera are all at risk of being damaged once the device has been taken apart due to initial damage in the same area as this component, In this scenario we would make you aware of the potential complications and potential extra repair costs before any repair is undertaken likewise for if we encounter signs of liquid ingress once repair is underway.
In any occurrence where a part that has tested OK prior to repair and is damaged accidentally when there is no impact damage which should in normal circumstances be affected under repair to the device we would accept responsibility for the damage and either repair or replace the device like for like (subject to our grading) at our cost with no additional costs to you than originally quoted.
Fix My Screen repairs are subject to a £15.00 diagnostic charge which is included in our repair prices, in the event of a non repair this charge would be non refundable, You would receive a refund of the remaining balance once diagnostic charges and postal costs are deducted.
